Lampung Hash House Harriers


Hash clubs have mushroomed around the globe. In Indonesia you will find hashing clubs in almost every province : Jakarta Hash, Bandung Hash, Manado Hash, Bali Hash and many more that I can not mention one by one. In Bandar Lampung itself, there are two clubs : Polaris Hash and Lampung Hash House Harrires.

I will mention more on Lampung Hash House Harriers because I know it better than Polaris.
What is this club activity? If you are novice to this hashing club, I am ready to give you a little information about it. What the members (hashers) do is not much different to those who participate in cross country jogging. Hashers gather at a certain point (on-in site) to walk or jog around covering some 7 - 10 km and make a loop back to the on-in. After all hashers come back to the on-in (where they meet and gather), hash master calls the hashers to make a circle and then he stands in the middle to announce what the run was like.
Lampung Hash House Harriers meet every Sunday morning at 6 am and the activity finishes at about 10 am.
Lampung Hash was founded in 2003 and has developed quickly and now it has more than 600 members.
