Jl. Soekarno-Hatta Gets Worse

By on 7:25 PM

Jl. Soekarno Hatta is under repair. What the central government has been doing so far is having the road widened. Meanwhile the road condition is getting worse as there are more holes and broken patches of the road. As a result, traffic  along Soekarno-Hatta road is heavily jammed. To avoid the traffic jam, many drivers have to go through Bandar Lampung lanes, causing traffic jam in the city. what's more most lanes in the city is also being widened, and has already caused heavy traffic jam during busy hours.

It seems that the road rehabilitation on Jl.Soekarno-hatta has experienced problems. The work has slowed down, and the widening of the road has had no progress.

If only there were alternative roads for buses and trucks traveling from Bakauheni seaport, the traffic jam would be less heavy. Road users do not know that Jl.Soekarno-Hatta is under the responsibility of Central Government in Jakarta. If there are claims or complaints, they should not be sent to Local Government.

Up to mid February 2013, the road widening is still not finished but the left side of the lane can now be traveled smoothly. However, some motorists still use other roads, causing traffic jams in busy hours.

Traffic to and from Jl. Ratu Dibalau is now less congested as two lanes have been built at the intersection. With these two lanes, traffic jam at the intersection is lessened.
